About the Author
Emily Kilgore
Emily has been surrounded by books her whole life. She holds a master's degree in Education with an emphasis on Children's Literature from Penn State University, and works as an elementary teacher dedicated to fostering reading enthusiasm in students.
"I strive to instill a love of reading in all children."
She resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her spouse, their young children, and their cat. Her interests outside of writing include traveling, physical fitness, and artistic pursuits like sketching.
Her debut picture book, The Whatifs, explores childhood anxiety and the cascade of "what if" questions children experience. She has also authored The Iheards, The Christmas Book Flood, and Huck and Loona.
