Hi, I’m Emily!

I have been surrounded by the magic of books all my life. I am an elementary teacher and earned my master's degree in Education: Curriculum & Instruction, Emphasis in Children's Literature through Penn State University. I strive to instill a love of reading in all children.

I currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband, toddler, and kitty. When not writing, I enjoy traveling, running, and doodling. My debut picture book, The Whatifs, takes a look at anxiety and all those seemingly endless "what if" questions.

The Whatifs, The Iheards, and The Christmas Book Flood are now available for purchase anywhere books are sold. My upcoming picture book — Huck and Loona — will release October 2024. I cannot wait for you to read my stories!
