Have you heard? Red Balloon is having an in-person celebration with local author Emily Kilgore in honor of her newest picture book, The Iheards! 

In this timely, back-to-school story from the author/illustrator team who brought you The Whatifs, Mason is constantly gossiping about everyone. Because of this, the Iheards love him. They sneak up to him and whisper all kinds of rumors in his ear: real things or pretend, innocent or mean. Join us at Red Balloon for an evening storytime with Emily as she reads from and talks all about The Iheards. The reading will be followed by a Q&A and signing line. Attendees are also welcome to very special Iheard stickers and themed treats!

To Attend: Space is limited, so a ticket is required to attend this event. You can register for a ticket through September 7, 4:30pm, and pre-order a book below. Additional books will be available for purchase the night of the event. Face coverings are required of all guests for the duration of this event, and food and drink are not allowed. Red Balloon will have disposable masks on hand if you find yourself without.

Signing Guidelines: Following the talk, Emily will sign and personalize copies of the book. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon is happy to have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.
